Bay Sail BaySail is a private, non-profit organization that operates two tall ships from Wenonah Park in Downtown Bay City. Appledore IV and Appledore V are the perfect platform to education children, inspire visitors and simply expose anyone with an adventurous spirit to the majesty of the Great Lakes. BaySail offers a variety of sailing experiences to the public as a way of supporting its environmental education programs. A regular schedule of public sails (star gazer, dinner, fireworks and history sails, for example) are available through the sailing season. The ships are available for private functions and frequently host conference groups and tour groups. Extended voyages are the cornerstone of youth adventure programs and the Appledore tall ships are Bay City ambassadors at ports throughout the Great Lakes.
